Eskişehir Osmangazi University-ESTEM and AvciBio Research Group took part in the high technology platforms meeting within the scope of TÜBİTAK-1004 Center of Excellence Support Program at TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus, with the participation of Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Chairman of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar and TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal on August 23rd, 2023.
The projects of 20 consortium platforms have discussed the latest outcomes and related activities with future directions. In this regard, 252 different projects were organized which were established by the cooperation of universities and industrial research centers/infrastructures. Over 70 universities, 109 private sector institutions, 6 research infrastructures, 6 public R&D units and 1550 researchers were involved in this event.
It is aimed that the platforms framework will increase the competitiveness of our country and interconnect the works that create an added value in Turkiye's development journey. It has also been pinpointed that these platforms contribute to the goal of raising the quality of the human resources required for the development of our national technology.

We had extreme pleasure of hosting a national news agency for a video report in Eskişehir Osmangazi University Cellular Therapy and Stem Cell Production Application and Research Center (ESTEM) and AvciBio Research Group on March 17, 2023.
They emphasized our varieties of works bringing together different disciplines, R&D programs and some of the world's most innovative research environments. The news agency showed how original solutions can be developed for our country to go one step further with its research capacity and research infrastructure. It was emphasized that with organ on a chip technology in which a personalized medicine can be developed in a short time with a relatively low cost, high efficiency and safety as well as acceleration the development of new drugs and their rapid entry into the market.
