Leading by Ankara University Stem Cell Institute, our project has been awarded grant funding under TUBITAK 1004-Regenerative and Restorative Medicine Research and Applications with the aim of developing a 3-dimensional liver chip kit for clinical diagnosis (2021).
A research project titled “On chip co-culture of liver cells under interstitial flow” proposed by Dr. Ahmet Emin TOPAL under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Hüseyin Avci and Assoc. Prof. Ayla Eker Sariboyaci has been found worthy to be supported by TÜBİTAK 2218-National Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Programme 2021/1. Dr. Topal will carry out his research work as a Visiting Scholar at the ESTEM-MEMS and Tissue Engineering Lab at Eskisehir Osmangazi University for the next two years.

Our collaborative work with Dr. Fatma Dogan Guzel's research group at Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University and Dr. Hossein Hashempour's group at Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University titled as "Development of a cost effective and highly sensitive on-chip platform: Cyclotides on a Chip" is granted by bilateral TUBITAK and Iran Centre for International Scientific Cooperation of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (2020).
